Welcome to a new Rotary year in District 5630!

I am honored to serve as your District Governor and look forward to working alongside Rotarians across our district as we strengthen our clubs, serve our communities, and create lasting impact.

This year, I hope we will stay connected, communicate well, support one another, and keep service at the center of all we do. District 5630 is strong because of dedicated Rotarians like you, and I am excited to see what we can accomplish together.

Stuart R. Shepherd serves as District Governor for Rotary District 5630 for the 2026–2027 Rotary year. A longtime North Platte resident, Stu is the Executive Director of the Nebraska 4-H Foundation, where he supports youth development opportunities across the state.

Stu previously spent 18 years with Great Plains Health as Vice President of Marketing and Development. He and his wife, Rajean, met through Up with People and spent more than ten years traveling and working internationally with the organization. Stu remains active with Up with People as President of its International Alumni Association and a member of its board of directors.

Stu and Rajean have two sons and two grandchildren. As District Governor, Stu is focused on helping clubs stay connected, supported, and centered on service.
