Golfers say “no” to Pandemic in Broken Bow

A month ago, President Trish McCarron was praying she didn’t have to cancel another planned Rotary event for her Broken Bow Are Rotary Club.

And as fate would have it, the sun came out, and sixteen teams of Rotarians and friends made the trek to the Broken Bow Country Club to defy the pandemic.  Everybody was happy just to be outside, in the sunshine enjoying the fellowship of others, all the while raising funds for Broken Bow Area needs.

“Thanks everyone for helping make Broken Bow Area Rotary’s “Service Above Self” Golf Tournament a wonderful success!” proclaimed Deb McCaslin, District Governor Nominee 2022-23.

Special thanks goes out to sponsors and volunteers: Nebraska State Bank, Legends Neighborhood Bar and Grill, Thomas Livestock Company, Awards and More, JMMMC, Johnson Metal Works, Bon Fire Grill, Kinkaiders, Adams, Land and Cattle Company, Edward Jones, Designs of Distinction, Off Broadway, Gary’s Grocery, Broken Bow TeamMates and the Broken Bow Country Club.

In addition thank you to those who helped get the word out – KCNI, KBear, the Custer County Chief and the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce.

This would have never taken place without a GREAT team that made everything work.
